is selfless strength

she taught me to love

my freckled face

sparkles and glows

she taught me

a relentless love

I am forever grateful to know

My sisters

celebrate life,

win or lose

they taught me

to ignore a world full of “toos”

no dress is too fancy

or canyon wall too steep

never too much

no such thing as too weak

I am a woman

surrounded by women

who I am proud of

There is no greater joy in womanhood.
